What does Vacio do?
Vacio scans your photo library to find items you may want to remove — Similar Photos, Duplicate Photos, Screenshots, and Large Videos — so you can free up storage. You review every item and choose what to delete; Vacio never deletes anything on its own.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. All scanning and analysis happens entirely on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to any server, and Vacio has no account or login.
How does deleting work? Can I recover photos?
When you confirm a deletion, the selected items are moved to the Photos app's "Recently Deleted" album, where iOS keeps them for 30 days. You can recover them there at any time during that period.
Why does Vacio ask for photo access?
Vacio needs access to your photo library to scan it on-device and to remove the items you select. If you grant "Limited" access, Vacio can only see the photos you've selected — for accurate results we recommend allowing access to all photos.
What's included with Premium?
Free users can scan and preview everything. Premium unlocks unlimited deletions and one-tap multi-select cleanup. Subscriptions are handled through your Apple ID.
I bought Premium but it's not showing up.
Open Settings → Restore purchases in the app. If you're signed in to the same Apple ID used for the purchase, your Premium access will be restored. Still stuck? Email us and we'll sort it out.
The scan found fewer items than I expected.
Make sure you've granted access to all photos (not "Limited"), and that any iCloud photos have finished downloading to your device. Pull down to refresh on the home screen to re-scan.
