Privacy Policy

Your photos stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Overview

Vacio ("the app", "we", "us") is a photo and video cleaner for iOS. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect. The short version: Vacio analyzes your photos entirely on your device, and your photos and videos are never uploaded to any server.

No account, no servers for your media

Vacio has no sign-up and no login. We do not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes your photos or videos. All scanning — finding similar photos, duplicates, screenshots, and large videos — runs locally on your device.

Photo library access

With your permission, Vacio reads your photo library to scan it on-device and to delete items you choose. This access is used only to provide the app's features. Vacio never transmits your media off the device. When you delete items, they are moved to the iOS Photos "Recently Deleted" album, where you can recover them for 30 days.

Information processed by third-party services

Vacio uses a small number of third-party services that may process limited, non-photo data:

We do not use Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Realtime Database, or any custom backend that stores your content.

Data we do not collect

Children's privacy

Vacio is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
